Kumasi Polytechnic currently offers 17 Higher National Diploma Programmes at the tertiary level having been upgraded to the tetriary status in 1992/1993 academic year. These are organized in 16 academic departments under three Schools namely Engineering, Applied Science and Business and Management Studies and Centre for Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Development. It also offers 24 part time programmes supervised by the Part Time Co-ordinating Unit.
